Workshops

Workshops are special events hosted by Baobab Arts for special guest teachers. These workshops are usually intensive and afford an opportunity to learn and gain experience over a concentrated period, usually a sequence of classes. Workshops may also feature an artist-in-residence.

Percussion Classes

Explore a variety of traditional West African drum rhythms guided by a Master Drummer who can provide context, and teach you to speak in the language of the drum. Classes focus on proper technique and repetition to give you practice playing different drum parts.

All skill levels (including beginners) are welcome. Drum rentals are available with advance notice.
