Festival Volunteer

We are looking for volunteers to help keep things organized and running smoothly for our upcoming cultural arts festival (November 8-10). 

 

Your responsibilities will include completing tasks as assigned, upholding the organization’s values, and being professional when onsite. You will be asked to arrive on time, follow instructions, and take pride in the work you are doing to help us achieve our mission.

 

Specific responsibilities include:

 

Set-up, Tear Down, and Clean up:

• Loading, unloading, and moving gear, equipment and tools

• Setting up tables, chairs and decorating

• Various office duties

• Helping to keep festival venue tidy

• Running errands (for example, to pick up refreshments or food orders)

Information and Hospitality​:

• Greeting and welcoming volunteers, performers, and festival participants

• Provideingpasses

• Helping to keep area clean and tidy

• Restocking supplies as needed

• Running errands as needed

Merchandise Table :​

• Greeting and welcoming anyone who comes to Merchandise Table

• Providing information and answering questions about the merchandise

• Keeping records and providing receipts when necessary

​

Box Office​:

• Greeting and welcoming festival attendees

• Scanning Eventbrite e-tickets

• Assisting with Eventbrite registration 

• Providing wristbands when necessary

• Providing information and answering questions about the festival

 

Candidates must demonstrate:

 

• A willingness to learn and work as part of a team

• Good time management 

• Good customer service skills

• Ability to follow instructions and act responsibly

• Positive attitude and willingness to help
