Administrative Assistant

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is looking for flexible part-time work. Apply to this role if you are a dedicated, reliable, and detail-oriented person who can provide administrative support to ensure efficient operations of a small not-for-profit organization. The successful candidate will assist with a variety of duties, including reviewing documents, assisting with light bookkeeping, preparing meeting notes, and helping to plan and execute events.

 

This is a remote working opportunity with flexible hours.

 

Responsibilities will include:

 

  • Writing and revising letters, invoices, and reports

  • Prepping materials for board meetings

  • Preparing agendas, recording minutes, and managing action items

  • Setting up and maintaining an electronic filing system

  • Assisting with issues involving logistics and event planning 

  • Drafting communications content (social media, e-blasts) as needed and responding to emails

  • Assisting with preparation of expense reports and small accounting projects

  • Other related duties as needed

 

Candidates must demonstrate:

 

  • Previous experience providing administrative support

  • Good computer skills and experience with Microsoft Office and G-Suite

  • Excellent communication skills in English (written and verbal)

  • Ability to make and keep deadlines

  • Strong organizational skills and an ability to juggle priorities as needed

  • Ability to work independently and unsupervised

Salary: $18-$20 per hour
